Hello Everyone, I am not a public speaker, so please bear with me. It's more than a little humbling to be here. What is about to be said, needs to be heard by everyone including The Congress, The President and the Supreme Court.
Most of all, it needs to be heard by the Attorney General, Eric Holder, and the Justice Department,
For immediate action.
My name is Marcus Wayne Hardin the Angry Grand Father. I'm here because I am filled with Righteous Indignation over how my Grand Son, Marcus Swiat and Michael Patrick Jacobs Junior were tortured and Michael was killed by Ft Worth Texas Police.
Marcus was Electrocuted, for Forty Seconds, and Tortured nearly to death, by the very same, Ft. Worth, Texas Police Department, that Tortured, "The Innocent", Michael Patrick Jacobs Junior for Fifty-Four Seconds, with 50,000 volts of electricity, until his young, healthy heart, stopped beating. Both were Tortured with a Taser brand Electronic Torture Device-- a Taser E.T.D.
This madness has to be stopped. Criminal acts of Torture have been preformed by Police Officers, against school children, and a great grandmother and thousands of others. A man with no legs was electrocuted and knocked from his wheel chair and Tortured with a Taser brand E.T.D. These were ordinary citizens being tortured, not dangerous criminals.
If any of you doubt, that Torture happens in our free society, just get on your computers and Google: "Taser Crazy Cops" and see it for yourselves.
Our Government Representatives, complain loudly, about Human Rights Abuses and Torture, in other countries, all the while, looking the other way, while Torture goes on, right under their very noses.
You all should hang your heads in shame, for the rest of your lives, if you didn't step up right now, and demand, that Congress pass Federal Laws, preventing Torture of any kind, in this United States of America.

My background, as an Electrical Contractor, has taught me valuable information, on Electrocution and Electrical Devices.
I have been nearly electrocuted to death, a couple of times, so I can speak with great authority about the excruciating agony of being electrocuted.
Who I am, is not really important, but what I have to say, effects every man, woman and child, in America.
The company, that manufactures and sells, the Taser brand of Electric Torture Devices, has grown into a Giant Goliath. They have grown so powerful, that they have been able, to win law suits, against medical examiners, and force them to change their autopsy findings, on persons electrocuted to death, with a Taser brand, Electric Torture Device.
They have even forced Medical Examiners to use the more genteel sounding words "Conducted Energy Devices" instead of Electronic Torture Devices, in their autopsy reports.
This slick "Organized Crime Like", organization" has managed, to get innocent sounding words like Taser, used instead Electronic Torture Device, and Tased instead of "Electrocuted" and Tasing instead Torturing with 50,000 volts of electricity.
Promoting, the popular use, of these innocent sounding names, gives the public the impression, that they're harmless. The true name, Electronic Torture Devices, sounds much more menacing, and offensive to any Normal Person,-- and would be a very hard sell for the company.
Taser International is a powerful Corporation with slick advertisement and slimy tentacles reaching into high places.
To take on this powerful corporation, would be a long drawn out legal battle, with very uncertain outcome. When The Attorney General finally fulfills his sworn duty to uphold the Constitution of the United States of America there will be no need to take them on.
It borders on Criminal, Negligence, that we are forced, to call for Peaceful Public Disobedience, to Convince Attorney General Eric Holder, and the Justice Department, to enforce our constitutionally, guaranteed, right, of protection from cruel, and Unusual, Punishment.
What is about to be said, is the most important thing that will be said.
Punishment, with an Electric Torture Device, is as CRUEL, and UNUSUAL, as punishment can get, and it is a clear violation, of the Constitution, which prohibits, the use of CRUEL, and UNUSUAL punishment.
The use of Electric Torture Devices is potentially lethal and more painful than bamboo slivers driven under fingernails. No Police Officer in his right mind would ever think of using this kind of Torture to control an arrest subject. Yet the very same Police Officer, might think nothing, of inflicting Electrical Torture.
If a Police Officer, Electrocutes a Citizen, with an Electronic Torture Device, that Officer should be arrested, by Federal Marshals, and charged with The Civil Rights violation, of the imposition of "Cruel and Unusual Punishment."
TASER brand Electric Torture Devices are electronically controlled, Electrical-Torture-Devices, "E.T.D.s."
The only purpose for an Electronic Torture Device is the delivery of Torture. Electric Torture Devices, are designed to inflict maximum Excruciating Agony, Pain, and Torture, hopefully, without killing the victim.
Taser International brags about, the Severe Human Pain, caused by their Taser brand Electric Torture Devices. Police Officers know full well that causing severe pain is also known as Torture.
A Ft Worth Texas, Police Officer, with "hate crime like actions", held the trigger down, on a Taser brand Electrical Torture Device, for a total of fifty four seconds. This sent 50,000 volts of electricity, screaming through Michael Patrick Jacobs young body, ending in a long, agonizing death.
It's doubtful that the Police Officer who so brutally Tortured and killed "The Innocent" Michael Patrick Jacobs Junior intended for it to end that way. She just wanted to Torture the kid with 50,000 volts of electricity, for fifty-four seconds, to teach him not to mouth off to her.
In the twisted reasoning, of a great many law enforcement officers, Torture is reasonable, desirable, and appropriate.
This will make you squirm in your seats before it's finished, but listen patiently while fifty-four seconds is counted down. While the count goes on, imagine that you have two 50,000 volt barbs fired deep into the flesh of your neck and chest sending excruciating agony through every nerve, and fiber in your body, even your brain. This atrocity alone, is reason enough, to make the Manufacture, Sale, Possession and use, of Electronic Torture Devices, illegal, in the United States of America.
My daughter, Mickie Ann Dye, the Cardiac Nurse, reminded me that electrical current, can cause a still heart to beat again,--- but it can also cause a beating heart, to stop. ---This is also, reason enough, to make Electric Torture Devices, illegal.
Electric Torture Devices, are not, " Non Lethal" as advertised. Over three hundred and fifty, Electronic Torture Device related deaths, in the United States alone, is proof enough that they can-- be-- fatal. Each use, is like playing Russian Roulette, with someone's life.
Torture of any kind or degree, is a Human Rights, and a Civil Rights violation.
There are no foreign or domestic issues, before The President and Congress, that are more important, than protecting, The American People's Freedom from Torture.
Who are "We The People", as a Nation?
Are "We The People", who condone Torture, of any degree?
Or, Are "We The People", that know Torture, of any degree, is morally wrong, and, a fast roller coaster ride to oblivion, for a Democracy?
In, Monarchies, Dictatorships, Socialism, Communism, and Fascism, everything belongs to the State, and Government rights, are superior, to civil and human rights.
In our Democratic Republic, we claim, to place human rights, over all other rights, Government, or otherwise.
Either you do, or you don't, believe that Human Rights, are supreme to all others. It's that simple.
If Human Rights are to remain Supreme in the United States of America, our Official Government Policy has to reflect this, in Domestic laws and Foreign Relations.
In the United States, Human Rights are claimed to be supreme to all other Rights, and Human Rights, cannot be legally denied, by any Government, or Court of law.
Civil Rights, are legal rights, guaranteed to a citizen by the Constitution. Citizens, accused of law violations, always retain their civil rights, until they are convicted, in a court of law.
Civil rights may be lost and denied to a convicted felon, but a felon's Human Rights, can never be lost, denied, or taken away.
When Citizens are arrested and tortured by Police, using Electronic Torture Devices, their Civil and Human rights, are both violated, all without Due Process of Law.
The responsibility of Law Enforcement, is to apprehend and control Human lawbreakers, without violating their Civil and Human Rights with Torture.
It is ludicrous to think that Anti-Torture laws, already on the books, do not include Electrical Torture. They do, but for some, mysterious, reason, Attorney General Eric Holder and the Justice Department, who works for the President, are not enforcing these Laws.

Where are the voices that screamed out in Congress, with such righteous indignation, when Dangerous Terrorists were being Tortured?

The Reverend Kyev Tatum, President of the FT Worth Chapter of the Southern Christian Leadership Conference, has publicly asked for a moratorium on the use of the Taser brand Electronic Torture Devices in Ft Worth Texas.
